GENERAL PURPOSE SILICONE

FEATURES

After curing, it remains permanently elastic.
Cures with the acetoxy system.
It provides excellent adhesion to nonporous surfaces.
It does not crack, turn yellow or resist aging effects.
It is resistant to detergent, cleaning materials and chemicals.
It can be applied in all seasons.
It emits a typical acid odor during curing.

APPLICATION AREAS

In general glass installation and assembly works
For insulation and filling in door and window openings
In concrete components
Applications and plumbing works in bathrooms and kitchens
In the connection points and joints of materials such as glass, porcelain, steel etc.
Insulation of electrical materials, sockets and switches

USAGE

Application surfaces should be cleaned sufficiently and cleaned from dirt, oil and dust. Application temperature should be between +5˚C and +40˚C. The mobility feature of the silicon should be taken into account when determining the joint width. The minimum joint size should be 5x5 mm. For joints with a very large width, the joint depth should be half the width. The joint depth can be adjusted to the desired level using the joint filler. It should be corrected by pressing with a silicone spatula within 5 minutes after application to ensure adequate contact with the surface. This process will both provide better adhesion of the silicone and result in a better filling appearance. Silicone which has not been cured yet can be cleaned with cleaning thinner. Cured silicone can be removed mechanically.
